Oh man, when I think back on my many roomates through the years, there sure have been some evil ones. There was the guy who stole my roomate's CDs and pawned them so he could buy weed. There was the time another roomate let his friend camp in our backyard in the middle of winter; the guy would come in to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and leave the front door wide open. Then there was the girl who liked to walk around the house naked, and then our neighbour across the street started checking her out, and his wife started to hate us. There was the girl who wrote passive agressive notes and signed them "The Management." There was the guy who tried to institute a dress code after he saw me walking from my room to the bathroom in my pyjamas. And who could forget my current personal favourite, the guy who consistently doesn't flush when he takes a poo?

Oh wait, those last three all live in my current place.

So it is with a heavy heart that I start looking for a new place to live. It's too bad because I really like my house. It's spacious and bright and has a great location right near Fernwood Square. But I just can't live somewhere that I have to deal with a personality clash every week. I shouldn't have to explain why signing notes "The Management" is an incredibly condescending thing to do, or fucking flush other people's shit on a daily basis. I have to find a new place.

But wait! Maybe there's someone else out there like me. Someone who would like to live in an awesome space in a cool neighbourhood for reasonable rent. Someone who's capable of being a little weird, is 420 friendly and likes drinking a few beers sometimes, likes to have fun, cook, and hang out, without being an addict, alcoholic, house trashing party person, total slob, or incapable of flushing. Maybe even a couple people! Could this be you? Do you want to team up and find a cool place to live?

More about me: I'm 26, female, work in a breakfast restaurant. The most I can afford for rent is $525, but I'm trying to save money for school, so cheaper is better. I have two friendly pet rats that mostly stay in their cage and are only taken out under supervision. Some activities I may engage in at home include listening to music at a reasonable volume, cooking, walking to the bathroom in my pyjamas, making art, and watching horror movies. I'm clean, respectful, and laid back, and would like you to be similar. You can be male or female, have pets or not have pets, smoke or not smoke. As long as you fall somewhere between total slob and passive agressive neat freak and you're remotely open minded and responsible we're cool. I don't want to live with more than three other people though.
