well hello there,

So you are looking for a room mate who will do their dishes, eat their own food (unless you offered to share with me that is!), listens to good music, will hang out like a real person (and not just run away to their room), and cooks yummy dishes in the kitchen? ho boy! here i am!

I am a youth'filled student of the geography variety that is looking for a warm home for the winter semester starting in January. Ideally I would like a home filled with many people located in Fernwood, Oakbay, or downtown/Cook street village area.

My current living situation was done abruptly before I met most of the people living in my house and they're just not very friendly and the house seems to have some weird energy, especially when all my room mates just retreat to their rooms immediately. I will be living here until the end of December and then I would like to move in with you! perhaps... if we are looking for the same thing in a shared space.

I am very friendly, musical, very kitchen-oriented, I love a good garden, and love being able to hang out with room mates rather than hide away in my room all the time. I'm pretty artsy - sewing, mending, creating, painting, glueing, writing, fixing, decorating, etc etc etc. It would be ever so lovely if you were looking for a cosmic lady to share in your artsy'ness, as I am a fan of sharing as well. Above all, I really just want lovely room mates who are funny, quirky, interesting people - or any combination of, or anything in addition to these good room mate attributes.

I don't need much space - did I mention that the room used to be a closet? I am literally living in a closet. I just want a room with a window above ground level, and I don't want to live in another creepy house.

I'm not one to have lots of company over all the time, but I want a space where I can feel comfortable inviting people over and it wont be an "issue" (it is an "issue" to have people over at my current house... hmmmm...)

Anywho, if this sounds like a good fit for your house, email me p-lease! If you want a funny little dread'y that will at least provide you with silly conversations in your house, then let me know, and I will move in! Yes indeed! I am budgeting my little student-heart away, so in the $400 range works well, but less is always appreciated!!
