What we're looking for: 1 bedroom or 1 bedroom + den or 2 bedroom apartment, condo or suite in a character home
Preferred location: James Bay or Fairfield
What we can afford: $750 to $900 a month; possible reduction consideration for light gardening duties, raking leaves etc
What we can offer: excellent rental references, responsible & trustworthy; we have been home owners and will treat your home with respect
When: we currently reside in the Okanagan but plan to move back to Victoria sometime after February 2010
Parking: for 1 vehicle, prefer secure underground or inside parking
Utilities: hot water included. Would be great if + heat and/or cable was also included

Who we are:
My husband and I are a mature married couple, in our mid 60's, with secure monthly pension income. We moved away from Victoria in 2000 and now it's time to move back home. We are looking for a comfortable, attractive rental accommodation. We would prefer a pet friendly building but as we currently do not have any pets we would be willing to consider a no pet environment for the right situation.

We have owned two properties in the past several years and have always treated our home, whether owned or rented, with respect. Our rental references are excellent and up to date. We have lived in the same building in Kelowna for the past 4 1/2 yrs.

We would be the perfect candidates to rent your suite if you are an absentee landlord.
