Hi,
I'm a female student at UVic looking for a room to rent from January until the end of April; however it would be nice to move most of my things come mid December if possible, before the Christmas holidays. Preferred locations include: Fernwood, Cook St. Village and Hillside area. But any area that is close to amenities and bus transport or biking distance to UVic would be wicked; also into living somewhere with a real "community" feel. Would like to find a place for under $600 a month.

A bit about myself: I like to live in an environment where I can focus and get my work done; that being said I also love social gatherings, pot-lucks, making food, movie nights, dancing, wine, live music and living actively. Favourite activities include surfing, hiking, running and yoga. I'm very easy-going and friendly and always into trying new things. Ideally it would be nice to live in a place where roommates are also friends.

If you have a room to rent for January and think I'm a possible fit please let me know. Weekends are best for me to come take a look at it, but I'm pretty flexible. Hope to find a place before December, so that I can provide my current landlords with a months notice before I leave.
